I did it
I can help you do it too!
It took me about a year of feeling stale, unenthusiastic and frustrated before I realised that I'd achieved everything I wanted to working with kids in the classroom. After 12 years of teaching, the thing that was capturing my attention most, was supporting the adults around me. So, in June 2018, I handed in my resignation with a 6 month notice period.
Over those 6 months I focused 100% of my energy between 8am-4pm on school, and outside of that, I was working like crazy on my exit plan. I spent nights and weekends on things like:
Networking
Running private coaching sessions
Learning about marketing
Studying anything to do with professional coaching
Creating a resource bank
Learning how to run a small business
While it was hard work, I proved to myself that with enough motivation, nothing is impossible.
And 6 years later, here we are! Not only has all the work paid off because now I own not 1, but 2 coaching/consulting businesses, but I get to help other people with their own exit plans!
If you're ready to work you ass off over the next six months to create your own version of life after the classroom, then I'm ALL IN! I've got the formula to help you to create the next chapter of a professional life that you're crazy about.

1:1 Coaching Conversation with me every 2-3 weeks
Weekly accountability check ins
Yep, it's a lot of money!
and here's why that's important:
If you've found this page of the website, and you're still reading to this point; you're READY to do something different. This is what the old saying 'put your money where your mouth is' was invented for.
Making this investment will flick a switch.
You are about to go from: "oh I wish I was brave enough to start doing my own thing", to: "holy-shit, I'm committed now so this is happening!"
You're one decision away from completely changing your life in the next 6 months - how exciting is that!
Have you got a burning question?
Fire through an inquiry to get this conversation started:
Here's the plan:
For the next six months, I'm with you every step of the way with:
scheduled coaching sessions every 2-3 weeks
weekly email accountability check-ins
and access to me at the end of a text message when you need it
This is an outline of what an exit planning journey typically looks like, but yours will vary based on your goals and priorities:

Month 1
Getting this show on the road:
The better you know yourself, the better you'll perform. During our first coaching conversation we'll do an initial assessment to get clear on your strengths so we can make the most of them throughout this journey. We'll also look at the areas that you're not so strong in, and make some plans to ensure that these things don't hold you back.
Setting great goals:
If someone asking you to set a SMART goal makes you roll your eyes- you've found the right person to work with! We're throwing the tired old goal-setting rules out the window because the right way to set goals that you'll actually achieve, depends on how you work best, what motivates you and what your appetite for risk is like. We'll explore all of this and make sure you've got solid short and long term goals, plus a plan in place to make sure you achieve them.

Month 2
Exploration & Opportunities:
You'll be researching all of the options that you've got, learning about building a professional network and starting to get into the details of what it takes to succeed in the new industry that you're heading towards.
Becoming problem-proof:
I like 'problem-proof' as a saying. Think; if something is waterproof it doesn't stop it from getting wet, it just means that water won't destroy it. And you're going to come up against problems (particularly your own brain getting in the way with all sorts of imposter-syndrome stuff), but with the right foundation, these things aren't going to knock you around too much.
I'll help you to anticipate and address potential challenges, manage stress and navigate the massive change ahead of you. This session is a conversation that everyone should have at least once in their lives!

Month 3
Skill building:
By now you're going to have uncovered massive gaps in the skills and knowledge that you'll need going forward. This month, there's a lot more mentoring going on than coaching where I'll teach you specific steps in change management. You'll have a learning plan for the new skills that you'll need to develop and maybe even trailing your next step as a side hustle.
Month 4
C.V's and Coms:
Whether you need to get your C.V ready for your new role, or begin a personal marketing campaign, now is the time to get pumped about selling yourself. The skills that you've gained as an educator are massively sought after in many industries, the trick is knowing how to communicate that in a 'non-teachery' way.
Legacy Project:
You get one chance to leave your current role with your head held high, and we're not going to lose sight of that. If you've got a leadership component to your current role, we'll make sure your succession planning is a focus and you'll make a plan for the final things that you want to achieve during your last EVER term as a full-time educator.

Month 5
Sealing the deal:
Things get very bespoke from this point onwards depending on whether you're launching your own business or starting in a new job. This month your plans will be getting rock solid. Our coaching sessions will focus on continuing to develop the skills you'll need in your next role.

Month 6
You've done it!
Your steady income and job security is about to disappear but you are ready for it! We'll work on your transition plan for the coming months including financial considerations, lifestyle adjustments and a plan for ongoing support and growth.
Everything you've worked for has all come down to this!

Want to lock it in?
$2,150
or $175 p/fortnight over 6 months
This is a big time commitment for both of us, so to get started we'll have a catch up on Google Meet first to make sure we're a good fit to work together.
From there, all you need to do is decide whether you want to be charged in one go, fortnightly or monthly.
Send me a message to get the ball rolling and I'll flick you a link to my Google Meet calendar:

You can start your coaching program any time you like - no need to wait for the start of the term. As soon as you sign up I'll send you a booking link and you can go ahead and book all of your sessions in right away, or play it fast and loose and book them as you go.
Payment via credit/debit card or bank transfer is available for this program. An invoice will be sent to you once you decide to officially sign-up after our initial catch up. If your school is picking up the tab, please give me a yell and let me know your admin person's email address and I'll fire through an invoice. I draw the line at getting a cheque in the mail though. #boundaries
Your confidentiality is my priority so I'll never share what we chat about with anyone. Even if your boss/nana/partner is paying for it. As an ICF accredited coach, I follow their code of ethics. They're pretty hardcore, so your professional growth records are safe with me.
