I'm on a mission to become the best educational coach in the world because I know how incredibly valuable coaching is.

When I became an Associate Principal, I got to work with a professional coach every term. It was the most incredible PLD I'd ever done because it focused on what was actually going on for me in my role. This was very refreshing at a time when a lot of professional learning options were designed by someone in a swively chair in the Beehive.

I loved the process of coaching so much, that I signed up to study a Postgrad in Educational Leadership and took every coaching paper I could. Then, in 2019 I left the security of a steady income and a permanent job and launched Coaching CoLab (yeah ... not the best timing).

Since then I've worked in dozens of schools up and down Aotearoa, and coached hundreds of teachers and school leaders. There's one common thing that I hear over and over again:

"Gosh, everyone should get the opportunity to work with a coach!"
